This initiative from Equinor SSU Learning Panel shall contribute to learning from incidents in one of our refineries in 2019 and 2021. The initiative is focusing on strengthening of barriers against uncontrolled vapour generation in atmospheric tanks, and contains description of the incidents and updated, internal requirements for process systems design. The reason why we share this initiative is to enable the use of the material for other companies to prevent similar incidents from happening.
