This film from the Equinor SSU Learning Panel has been made to share learnings after a condition where hydrate formation caused weakening of safety critical systems in one of Equinor’s facilities. This experience gave new knowledge about the risk of hydrate formation in so-called “deadlegs” where there normally is no flow through. We share this film to make the knowledge available to other actors with activities where hydrate formation is relevant, so that similar incidents can be prevented.
