Area-specific life-saving rules
In this practical package, we provide an introduction to area-specific life-saving rules within crane and lifting operations, safe work on electrical systems, and work on normally pressurised systems. The rules are based on analysis of incidents we have had over the last 10 years in these areas involving serious personal injury and risk of loss of life. The purpose of the area-specific life-saving rules is to prevent similar incidents in the future. The package has been developed for Equinor EPN and is open and available to anyone who wants to use it. The additional package is used over 2 trips and consists of a film, reflection questions and practical tasks. Use the content on both trips to reinforce good practices over time.
